Found in the Manti - La Sal area in Utah, these are fossiled algal balls also know as birdseye marble. Formed around 58-66 million years ago, these algae balls formed around organic materials such as wood, leaves, and even creatures such as shells and crustaceans. The wood frame has been made from reclaimed wood I have found during my adventures.
