My canvas is made from reclaimed wood that helps accent the natural flows of the wood and paint. Occasional nail imprints add to the texture and raw feel of the paintings. All of my paintings are done with a quill like pick that I slowly dip then add paint to the canvas. Natural and western styled artwork that fits well in cabins, lodges, or other Americana styled atmospheres. This is what we call a Box Elder bug here in Utah. People consider them a tree pest but it is a fascinating creature that will cover a full tree with their distinctive red patterns.
