This is a beautifully restored mid-century Thomasville Octagon Cocktail Table.  It has been fully restored to accent the rich burl oak patterns, and augmented with locally collected and cut geodes.  This is a one of a kind piece that compliments the beautiful burls, while accenting the natural banding of the geodes.  This is part of the Thomasville Pageantry Collection: Oct. Cocktail Table.  The geodes formed approximately 6-8 million years ago when rhyolitic rocks formed bubbles. These bubbles eventually filled with mineral rich waters that slowly formed crystals within the geodes.  As with everything in my shop, I hand collect and cut each rock.  I obtain my specimens both ethically and environmentally minded.
