The wild west is home to many creatures. Some of these animals are staples to the Rocky Mountains and even the smaller critters deserve some attention. My canvas is made from reclaimed wood that helps accent the natural flows of the wood and paint. Occasional nail imprints add to the texture and raw feel of the paintings. All of my paintings are done with a quill like pick that I slowly dip then add paint to the canvas.
