This is a refinished oak table with wonderstone inlays.  The glass is bevelled to accent the geometric cuts in the wonderstone.  The wood has been refinished with linseed oil to accent the natural grains.  I enjoy a more natural feel in wood, and it adds to the overal rustic charecteristics that help augment the stonework.  The wonderstone has been ethically and environmentally obtained from my home state of Utah.  I cut and refine every piece I use.  The geometric cuts are meant to accent the natural banding in the rock. Wonderstone is rhyolitic ash that was deposited over 10 million years ago. Subsequent waters saturated in iron pyrite and quartz later formed the beautiful rock we know as wonderstone.
