This is a cross section of wonderstone displayed on a reclaimed board of wood. All rocks and gems are collected in my home state of Utah. This piece can be placed anywhere for a natural accent.  Wonderstone is rhyolitic ash that was deposited over 10 million years ago. Subsequent waters saturated in iron pyrite and quartz later formed the beautiful rock we know as wonderstone.
